But unfortunely my acre will not hold one. I am thinking of getting it while a calf so I can train it to love me. I will breed once in a while. I don't like fresh milk from a cow but will give it to someone who might like it.

| The little minitures do great on an acre unless it is all sand or rock. If you will watch the website southeastexas.com - you will see one every once in awhile that folk are selling for a reasonable price. They make great pet - every think about little Nigerian Dwarf Goats - they are 22" inches grown and have precious babies - the milk is great for you or for making cheese but it is strong |

I had a pygmy goat that learned bad habits from our dogs. She thought she was a dog. My husband loved that little goat. She just came up in our yard one night. The dogs were baying and my son was yelling ghost ghost! Im like Ghost? He said NO GOAT! We looked for her owner. She was the prettiest little goat around. We named her Pebbles because that is what she left behind. She died in childbirth we heard.
