I recently won Koontz's newest book, autographed. He had a book review type thing in an online virtual game called Second Life where he read an excerpt from the book. My name went into the hat since I was there listening, and sure enough..I won the autographed copy! It was pretty cool! I think it's the only thing I've ever won.

I won a book by an author named Michael Phillips, called the Secret of The Rose and then got the other 3 books in that series. I love books in series.

I have every book in the "Left Behind" series

I have read a bunch of Dick Francis' books in the Readers Digest Condensed Books. His usually revolve around Race Tracks and Jockeys.

Reading is like saving money!

I know about busy schedules, three kids and 12 hour work days for oh so many years but you need to pay yourself first, just like saving money.  No matter how tired, or busy, even if you only read for 15 minutes, it is worth it.

You are so right Birdhill!!!!  Right now my down time is laying in bed with a hyper puppy.  For some reason she is hyper unless I put her in my bed and give her one on one time.  I consider it my bonding time with her.

John Grisham. I appreciate the fact that John doesn't use alot of profanity in his storries. That is refreshing in this day and ae,
