Might be fun if everyone told what Thanksgiving was like around their house. Special foods, family quirks, etc. I not going to start it since I am chicken and we have strange traditions that have developed over the last 40+ years. Very Happy But if anyone wants to play, I will tell later. Very Happy

We go to my mom's house. This is the first year that Corey will not be with us. He is going to his girlfriends house in Michigan. I told him it was ok. My oldest son's girlfriend is 49 yo. I kid not. So they don't come because she is not welcome at my mom's house. I don't like her all that much either but try to be nice for my son's sake. He is just 22.

The day after Thanksgiving we usually buy our tree from a farm out here but since money is so tight, we are opting for a little aritifical tree. Two years from now we are going to be out of bankruptcy and Thanksgiving will really have a lot of blessings from us.

At dinner we usually start with the youngest and go round the table telling what we are thankful for this year. Josey can't talk yet but you can bet she is number one in our hearts this year. So many bad things happened but she came along and is a treasure in our heart!!

Thanksgiving at our house consists of me cooking for 3 days and everyone hiding so they don't have to help. Thanksgiving day all the guys sit our on the deck and watch the horses graze on grass. My FIL made the comment last year about what did they do before we had the deck built. I told him he sat out on the porch!!
