Praline Pecans
Have a lightly greased cookie sheet ready.
In a large pan add;
1 T (tablespoon) butter
1/3 c. water
1 c. confectionary sugar
1 c. Light brown sugar
5 c. pecan halves
Melt butter in water, add sugar and stir to melt on medium heat.
High heat will burn the Praline Pecans
brown sugar. As soon as it's melted,
add the pecans, stir to completely cover all the pecans
with the mixture.
Keep stirring for about 5 minutes, you will see it starting to
look fudgey and dry with no syrup left. Then quickly pour on
cookie sheet, and separate the pecans with 2 forks so not to
burn your fingers while still warm.
When all pecans are separated, let cool.
And it's very easy to double the receipe. You just have to have a large pan and 2 cookie sheets.
